The entire Morgan Law LLC team takes pride in our year-round support of local, regional and national organizations. This year has been no different as we have once again actively partnered with a diverse group of donees in support of events and programs. Listed below are some of the organizations that we have supported recently:
- American Cancer Society
- Animal Welfare Association, Inc.
- Boys and Girls Club of Camden County
- Forgotten Angels Equine Rescue
- Girls Scouts of Central and Southern NJ
- JEVS Human Services
- Jewish Family & Children’s Services
- Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey
- Katz Jewish Community Center (JCC)
- The Occupational Training Center
- University of Pennsylvania
- Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge
As part of our effort, we would like to spotlight a couple of these organizations and share what they mean to us.
Managing Partner Ken Morgan says “I support Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge because my father did so and it’s a nice connection to him and helps keep his memory alive through gifting. They have been helpful in taking care of certain animals, including baby racoons born inside the walls of our house earlier this Spring. Three of the four were abandoned by their mother so we took them to Cedar Run, where they were cared for over the past six months. Now they are back living and roaming freely in nature and finding their own way.”
Keeping with the animal theme, Forgotten Angels Equine Rescue is another local organization established by Darlene Supnick and Lisa Draharod in 2015 and has since saved over 350 horses from slaughter and negligent situations. Moreover, they have advocated for legislation to protect horses. The mission goes further… “Once we save the horse, we provide them with any necessary medical care and find them a loving, forever home.” The rescue has also partnered with the SpectraCare Foundation to offer Equine Therapy to veterans.
